If you are unsure of your absorption, take 500-1000 mcg, or one B12 pill a day. It’s absorbed best if you chew it or dissolve it in the mouth. And that’s what we recommend for anyone who’s on a vegetarian diet. Having some milk and eggs is not a guarantee that you get enough B12. You really need to make sure you supplement.
