Stride Length

http://newstartclub.com/question/792

Q. How many steps make a mile?

A.

1 mile = 5,280 feet

Hence, depending on the length of your stride, that will determine how many steps make a mile for you. An average stride is about 2 feet in length. So it would take 2640 steps to complete one mile.

To measure your stride, mark a distance of 50 feet, then walk this distance and count your steps. Divide 50 by the number of steps and that is your stride length. Now divide 5280 by your stride length to find your average steps per mile.

Have you recently had a 25-hydroxy Vitamin D level drawn? If yes, that would help determine whether supplementation is required or not, and what amount. Some evidence suggests that optimal 25-hydroxy vitamin D levels are above 50 ng/mL. Depending on how much sun exposure you get as well as at what latitude you reside, this may be sufficient for providing your Vitamin D needs. Update happy wheels 3.0
