Vitamin D3

http://newstartclub.com/question/791

Q. How much Vitamin D3 is recommended for a 72 year old women?

A.

Have you recently had a 25-hydroxy Vitamin D level drawn? If yes, that would help determine whether supplementation is required or not, and what amount. Some evidence suggests that optimal 25-hydroxy vitamin D levels are above 50 ng/mL. Depending on how much sun exposure you get as well as at what latitude you reside, this may be sufficient for providing your Vitamin D needs.

Is that about 2,000 IU of D3?
