Chicken-Like Salad

Instructions

  1. Place garbanzo beans in a blender and add enough water to cover them.
  2. Blend until smooth.
  3. Add the chicken-style seasoning, Bragg’s®, garlic powder and onion powder.
  4. Blend well.
  5. Pour liquid in bowl, adding 1 cup of gluten flour at a time, working the flour in well.
  6. Form into a loaf, and put into an oiled bread pan and cover with foil.
  7. Place loaf pan in shallow pan of water and place in oven.
  8. Bake at 325 degrees for 2 hours. When cool, put through food processor on "grate" setting.
  9. Can be frozen at this stage.
  10. Add soy mayonnaise, celery, olives, etc. Tastes so good you won’t miss the chicken!

    I haven’t tried it, but thinking a combo of 1/2 Spelt and half Millet would be interesting.

    Is gluten flour the same as vital wheat gluten?

    I am going on a food sensitvity diet for 3 weeks,then adding back to see what is contrary to me..Soy,Gluten,Eggs,Corn,Dairy,Peanuts,Sugar.
    Would using Yeast Flakes be a problem?

    I always get migraines when I use Braggs Liquid Aminos…mentioned to my local health food store and was told this product does contain MSG components.

    FYI.

    I now use Coconut Amino’s
