Instructions

  1. Soak chick peas overnight , and pressure cook for two whistles or use canned chick peas.
  2. Heat a small amount of water to sauté the onions in.
  3. Add cumin seeds, ginger, coriander powder, and chili powder.
  4. Sauté for a couple of minutes or until brown.
  5. Add tomato and cook for another 5 minutes.
  6. Add the cooked chick peas, garam masala powder, salt, and cook on low for 10-15 minutes.
  7. Garnish with green chilies and green coriander or parsley leaves, sliced onion and sliced limes.

Serve with Rotis.
