I noticed your recipes call for this “cinnamon substitute” - rather than cinnamon.  Can you tell me the reason for not using cinnamon?

I have a teaspoon of cinnamon on my oatmeal every morning. Is that a good or a bad thing? If the substitute is healthier I will switch.

Hello, I would like to know if cinnamon is heathy for you and if not, why?

    Thank you , Lonnie

    Hello Lonnie,
Yes Cinnamon can be irritating to the delicate lining of the stomach. Although it is touted as having medicinal properties for things such as lowering blood sugar levels , it can be an irritant to the gut.
