Corn Crisps can be used with soup or for breakfast in place of toast. God bless your efforts to eat healthfully.

I made the batter and it never really thickened.  I re-read all the ingredients and directions, and I followed them exactly, but it’s thick on the bottom of the bowl and the top of the bowl is just basically water. Should I drain off the water and use the rest or just mix up the water and have it be very, very thin?

    HI Dana,
After reviewing the recipe over, you may mix up the water and have it not come out very thin. Hope this helps.

Think about buying organic cornmeal.  Most of the corn now is Monsanto’s GMO.  It was engineered to be immune to their Roundup herbicide, so this corn is also heavily sprayed with it to kill weeds in the fields. (They claimed that Roundup was biodegradable, but this has been discovered to be false.)

And Monsanto owns the patent on this seed, so they make MONEY on Roundup and seeds.

When the GMO corn is cross pollinated in the air by the wind or insects or other ways with non-patented or organic corn, Monsanto then owns all the corn, because of the patent laws.

The video, King Corn, is available through my local public library, and also free to watch on Hulu.com It’s an amusing documentary about a very serious subject.
