Roasted & Spiced Chickpeas

Canned beans aren't a typical go-to snack.  But this recipe for canned chickpeas--roasted, toasted, and spiced--are a delicious crunchy, flavorful (and fiber-full) handful on-the-go.

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 425F.
  2. Toss chickpeas with oil and spices until evenly coated.

  3. Spread on a rimmed baking sheet and roast, shaking occasionally, until chickpeas are golden and crunchy (about 30 minutes).
  4. Let cool completely, then store in an airtight container for up to 2 weeks.

Ready in about: 30 minutes
Makes: 1 cup
