Instructions

  1. Sift the dry ingredients together.
  2. Cut in the margarine using two knives or a pastry blender until it looks like little peas.
  3. Add the soy milk and mix it in with a fork until thoroughly blended. Try not to over mix as this could make the biscuits tough.
  4. Press out the dough with the palm of your hand and cut out the biscuits with a cutter.
  5. Place in an 8” round cake pan.
  6. Bake at 450 degrees for 12-15 min.

Hint: If you are using only unbleached white flour, cut the flour to 2 cups only.

How much sodium does it have in it? My brother is on a low sodium, low fat diet because he just had a Heart Attack.

How thick should I press the dough out before cutting the biscuits?

    Hello Robert ,
I usually try to press it out to appx. a 2 1/2 inch thickness. I prefer thicker biscuits myself but you may like a smaller one. One point I would like to make is that you want to be careful not to overmix the dough first . Hope you enjoy them !
