Berry Filling for Crisp or Cobbler

Berry Filling for Crisp or Cobbler

A summer blackberry cobbler is good for breakfast, lunch or supper.

  1. Wash fruit and place in casserole dish.
  2. If using dates, whiz in blender with pineapple juice until smooth. If using date sugar or honey, stir with pineapple juice to mix.
  3. Dissolve cornstarch in water. Mix the fruit liquid and cornstarch together and pour over berries.
  4. Cover with favorite topping, such as granola or a pie crust and bake 350° for about 45 minutes.
