Michael J. Orlich, MD, is a board-certified family practioner. He is a graduate of the University of Michigan Medical School and of the Tacoma Family Medicine residency, affiliated with the University of Washington. He has a longstanding interest in preventive medicine, nutrition, and lifestyle education. Dr. Orlich worked for a number of years as a physician with the NEWSTART® Lifestyle Program at the Weimar Center of Health and Education. He is currently pursuing additional training in preventive medicine and public health at Loma Linda University. Dr. Orlich also has a special interest in international medicine which has taken him to South America and Africa.
